Regardless of what happened, you are likely burned out, overwhelmed and exhausted.
You’re probably convinced if you just keep THINKING, planning, pushing, trying you can figure it all out. This is why you’re always on alert. This is why your brain jumps in every time you try to rest or relax or even sleep and yells at you to STAY VIGILANT! This is why the spirals of worry, fear, and anxiety have become automatic.
The thing is, you’ve tried to fix it. Of course you have, you’re so good at fixing everything! You’ve searched for solutions. Maybe you’ve even worked with therapists or coaches or signed up for endless online courses. Maybe the stack of unread self-help books on your bedside table has gotten so high it threatens to crush you in the night. Maybe there’s even some shame: what’s wrong with me that I haven’t been able to fix this??
Nothing seems to work. But you know you can’t keep going the way you’ve been. You’re probably irritable, anxious, angry. And then there are the physical symptoms: the muscle tension, the fatigue, the headaches, the dizziness, the panic attacks… you know you can’t continue like this. So you’re stuck.
Despite it all, there is a quiet voice in the background whispering “There is another way!” You hear it. You want to believe it. Part of you really does believe it.
Listen to that voice. Even through it all, there have been moments of beauty, laughter, love and maybe even joy. You can have more of those. You can take the energy of ALL that you’ve been through and use it to redefine yourself and your life. This is post-traumatic growth. I believe this fully.
I believe this because I’ve experienced it first hand: in myself, in my clients, in the inspirational stories of so many around me.
YOU CAN GET OUT OF SURVIVAL MODE.
And I can help.
